This year I was honoured to be selected as a contestant in the Princesses Shop’s 8th annual Dress It Up Cupcake Contest!

• As a local business owner, I often think about ways in which I can give back to the community using my creativity and passion for baking, so I was thrilled to be given the opportunity to design, bake and donate almost 300 cupcakes for the event! 100 percent of the contest proceeds went to The Princess Shop's Dress Program, which gives female-identified students in need, the ability to feel beautiful in a dress on their grad day and provides them with mentorship and support to pursue success after graduation.

• I feel so lucky that I was able to contribute to such an amazing cause, and help spread awareness for the Dress Program by helping promote the fundraiser on CTV Morning Live leading up to the event!

• I should also add how excited I am to be awarded 2/3 of the contest awards for “Best Look-a-Like to the dress” & “2023 Overall Champ”.
